Sport Shoot 2017
Event will be held August 5, 2017 at the Coyote Valley Sporting Clays in Morgan Hill.
This will be our 7th annual Sport Shoot Competition, benefitting Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital Foundation. Sport Clay Shooting is a clay target shooting game and although teams are encouraged, competition is evaluated by individual scores. Shooters will rotate through a predetermined number of stations in teams of 4. Each participant will shoot 100 shells. Event entry included non-alcoholic beverages throughout the day and post competition, a Lunch with beer and wine. Also available will be a gun raffle. Register Early!
We will be allowing participants under 18 as long as their parent is present.
Proceeds from this year's Sport Shoot will fund the new Salinas Valley Medical Clinic (SVMC) Diabetes & Endocrine Center, a part of Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare System. Diabetes is an alarming epidemic in our country. In Monterey County, nearly 10% of the population is diabetic and another 30% are pre-diabetic.
The SVMC Diabetes and Endocrine Center offers a comprehensive diabetes management and prevention program using evidence-based, best practices including education and nutrition support, family support, and community outreach-all while meeting the cultural needs of our diverse community.
Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital Foundation, founded in 1979, has raised more than $60 Million dollars for patient equipment and services at Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare System. It is through the efforts of the Foundation that contributors and volunteers take pride in making possible the best healthcare for our community.
