Since 1989, Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare System has been a part of the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals (CMNH), a national charity dedicated to helping hospitals help kids. Over 17 million children each year are helped by the 170 CMN member hospitals throughout the United States and Canada.  Most importantly, every dollar raised locally stays local to help children in each hospital's community.

In the 25 years that Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare System has been a part of Children's Miracle Network, we have donated over $11 million to children's medical services throughout the Central Coast.

Salinas Valley Memorial Healthcare System is the only Children's Miracle Network Hospital in Monterey, Santa Cruz, and San Benito Counties, and all local fundraising done throughout these three counties directly benefits our program.

The annual fundraising schedule for our local Children's Miracle Network program includes national fundraising programs such as Extra Life (a 24 hour gaming marathon) and Miracle Jeans Day, 16 corporate Miracle Balloon fundraising campaigns, 3 Spanish Radiothons, and a gourmet Gala Dinner and Auction held each spring.
