Giving to the Local CMN Hospitals Program at Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital
The impact of your giving:
The cornerstone of Children's Miracle Network Hospitals (CMNH) fundraising
is and always has been supporting
local children’s healthcare needs. 100% of all donations made to our local
CMNH Program stay in our Central Coast community (Monterey, Santa Cruz,
and San Benito counties) and are used for:
-
Making More Miracles: A Special Program for Special Kids. The unique program provides medical needs grants to fund medically beneficial
equipment and services for individual children throughout the Tri-County
area. Examples of items recently funded include wheelchairs, hearing aids,
cochlear implants, accessible bathroom remodels, mobility aids, art and
equestrian therapies, and much more.
-
Pediatric Community Outreach including
Days of Discovery (a special needs dive program at the Monterey Bay Aquarium), and support for the
Miracle Mobile operated by
Partnership For Children to transport local children with life-threatening illnesses to and from
medical appointments in the Bay Area.
-
Newborn and Pediatric equipment and services at Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital, including support for our Level III
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Pediatrics Unit, Pediatric Diabetes Clinic,
and Pediatric needs within our Emergency Department.
